Its natural region of occurrence is in Western and Central Asia as well as in Central, Eastern and Southwestern Europe. Chervil is now cultivated all over the world and is therefore widespread everywhere. It is an indispensable spice in French cuisine. But it is also used in Dutch, English, Austrian and German cuisine. Chervil has an aromatic smell and a spicy, slightly peppery taste.
APPLICATION
Chervil is used for seasoning salads, seafood, meat dishes and egg dishes. It combines wonderfully with tarragon, parsley and borage.
